Bollywood Super Star Rajesh Khanna Passed Away

Super Star Rajesh Khanna passed away on wednesday after noon at his residence ‘Aashirwad’ in Mumbai. Rajesh Khanna was 69 years old when he passed away. He was suffering from prolonged illness since long time and finally passed away today. He was suffering from illness since April, 2012. He was discharged from Leelavathi Hospital yesterday and he passed away today.

Rajesh Khanna’s health condition was worsening from April,2012 when he stopped eating food and was very weak. He was admitted to Leelavathi Hospital two times during the last one month.

Rajesh Khanna has emerged as India’s first super star after 15 super hit movies in a row between 1969 and 1972 which includes ‘Aradhana’, ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’, ‘Anand’ etc…

Rajesh Khanna breathed his last in presence of his wife Dimple Kapadia, and daughters Rinkie and Twinkle, Son-in-Law Akshay Kumar, and grand children.

Rajesh Khanna’s funeral will take place on Thursday at 11 am tomorrow in Mumbai.

The news of Rajesh Khanna’s death spread like wild fire and hundreds of fans gathered at his residence ‘Aashirwad’ in Bandra, Mumbai.

Prime Minister Sri Manmohan Singh and Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi expressed their condolences to the members of the family.
